His description of her was a little worrying, and yet endearing at once. She didn't exactly think of herself as a maiden; if anything, she feared the threat that her powers could inflict upon others. The word, perhaps without reason, evoked the thought of someone weaker, in need of protection. But perhaps that was his intent; to let her think of herself in a way that didn't regard harming other people. As a feeling person in need. Certainly, everyone needed help at times.

Again, he called her a friend. Which truly struck a bit deep, as she'd always felt the need for one, solitary as her life had been. The idea of being called queen, while new and still a little strange to hear, was an idea she'd known she had to adapt to. Although after her departure, she wondered if Anna would take the roll. Anna and the man she'd just met, planning to marry. Well, it couldn't possibly be worse than the monster of Arendelle taking the throne, right? She hoped?

The idea that she couldn't hurt him if she tried, was both alarming and also heartening. She feared hurting him, more than being hunted. All the same, though, the words held multiple implications. To be tactful, she'd have to trust, and she wasn't used to that.

"I will," she responded, determined to conquer this gift, before it became a curse as the trolls had foretold. "But everything I touch becomes ice. Less so, with gloves, but my other one was lost in the storm." Not entirely a lie, but she was a little embarrassed to tell him she'd ripped the thing off, and let the wind take it. It had been a personal moment, finding her strength in self-acceptance, and she felt that he didn't need to know that.
