Alric smiled gently, although he raised his eyebrows slightly, as in a playful, unspoken question if she'd really found it so surprising he was right about something. He moved right along, though, and nodded. His hands remained clasped behind his back, for the moment, to avoid making her feel put upon just as she seemed to be relaxing a little.
"It often does, yes, when one has to opportunity to take a breath. There may be times when your obviously most admirable restraint is necessary, as well, but I've found that a... suite of options is best. Restraint serves us well when we must act, but... incurs a debt, one might say, that must eventually be paid off in some manner. We can hold in only so much, after all, before it demands to be released, one way or another. ....you feel better, I hope..?"
